Review: Final Fantasy VIII: Remaster – Worth the price?

A Final Fantasy VIII (FFVIII) remaster is something I have wanted for a long time but did not ever expect to see. Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers – a phenomenal Expansion. (Spoiler free reaction)

For me, Shadowbringers is an expansion that, in many ways is of a higher standard than some Single player games. Already I find myself impatient for the next patch, to discover what happens next. Though this is by no means unusual for me with Final Fantasy XIV, this time, I find myself much more impatient.

Writing Fantasy and Sci-fi: Tools I find invaluable

Writing any novel is a daunting and mammoth undertaking which requires many hours of dedication and a truckload of patience. I have lost count how many times I have read back a chapter or a scene only for there to be something wrong. As a writer of high fantasy, my world building is paramount. To…

Breath of fire: the series that deserves a re-release.

For many, the Breath of Fire series elicits nostalgia faster than looking at your childhood photos. Spanning across five retro console games and one mobile game, it is a series that is well known but underappreciated. My first voyage into this sublime series came with Breath of Fire III on the PlayStation One. For a…
